Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Sims beautiful home. We had everything we needed. The view from the balcony and all bedrooms was amazing. Huge beautiful kitchen, Living and Master bedroom. All 6 of us were comfortable and had their privacy. Great for big families. Would definitely reccomend it!

Over all good experience was good but barking dogs living in basement with home owner. Plywood wall dividing house from basement. House needs a deep clean and some maintenance. Front door does not stay closed unless deadbolted. Good for a large group of you

Enjoyable stay in the mansion, close to grocery store

This is a luxury house and is huge! The house had good views, especially during night time. Would love to come back in future. Checkin was super easy. Owners kept books for kids to read, that was so very convenient and kids felt engaged. Owners live in bottom floor, but we could hardly hear them. Would recommend more cleaning after guests visits.

HUGE property and great hosts!

We loved our stay at this home and the hosts were super attentive and helpful. When it was discovered the previous guest had taken the bullet blender canister, the hosts unexpectedly arrived within two hours with a brand new blender! Every question and request we had was answered within minutes. The property itself is shockingly large and spacious with a breathtaking view. We knew this was not a brand new home and our expectations were realistic that there might be a few scratches and it would reflect being “lived in.” It met and exceeded our expectations and was perfect for what we needed for a team building offsite. We would stay again.

Poorly cleaned, dusty The place has a huge space and nice views for large group of people. But most surfaces such as toilets and bathtubs are dusty and even has pubic hair which we weren’t able to use. Also most bathroom door locks do not work. Overall, if you want to stay in a quiet and lots of good view this one’s good. The basement was not included in the booking and owner living in it is very strict on noise.

Decent square footage, good location but requires major maintenance and was dusty inside. Leaking toilet, broken or loose toilet seat, missing kitchen cabinet door, missing TV remote control. Host was nice and cordial and responded to our queries within a minute. Nice house if maintained

IT was dirty washrooms one shower did not work towel handle missing , We thought we got the full house owner living in the basement, rugs dirty, Kitchen dirty would not return to this house if I had to go back to Port Coquitlam

HORRIBLE STAY - BE CAUTIOUS

The unit was disgustingly dirty. Host burst into the unit at 6am claiming people were doing drugs in her suite. Absolutely nobody was doing drugs, everyone was asleep and had been since 11pm. She was screaming at the top of her lungs that she has cameras and she saw everything. Host brought her two sons into the unit to try and physically remove us. Police were called by my sister and they were extremely disturbed by the host screaming and crying for no apparent reason. Would NOT stay here again.

Nice property with some quirks

I stayed here with my family and extended family. There were plenty of rooms with lots of space. The place was in need of repairs (melted knobs on stove, tape holding the shower together). Extra things were not available or not able to be found (toilet paper, extra blankets). Beautiful view outside but no sitting space to enjoy the area. Rooms were COLD and we could not adjust the thermostat. Was concerned when we were mistakenly sent a message that was to go to the cleaners that said to remove towels and to "fix the beds" making me think that the bedding was not changed, but that the beds were remade with existing sheets.

Neglected run down property BEWARE

The only redeeming feature of this property is the host. She was Accommodating and responsive but….. this home at one time was an executive large fancy place but it is very outdated and completely run down. The yard and outdoor space is overgrown and even garbage strewn about. Inside there are many things not working, in disrepair, falling off the walls etc. There is no way a professional cleaner is preparing this home for the next rental. For example, the fans in the bathroom are disgustingly dirty and the house in general is just not clean. The kitchen has the basics but good luck finding anything with the dozens of drawers and cupboards most of which haven’t been cleaned in years. In my opinion this property is not suitable for rental but if you’re not concerned about cleanliness or esthetics, and just looking for a large space with many rooms then this is the place for you. This home is currently for sale so may be the reason for the neglect.
