About this property
Stoney Chute Eco-Cabins : two accessible, quiet, retreats close to Nimbin.
Looking for a comfortable, quiet & environmentally friendly retreat only 5km from Nimbin?
Stoney Chute eco-Cabins look down the valley towards Nimbin rocks, which are spectacular at any time of the day or night; and the location is a perfect retreat from the village but close enough for hassle-free transport to cafes, festivals, events and tourism adventures in the area.
Enjoy the comfort of a completely self-contained off-grid eco-cabin, queen bed with luxurious linens and ensuite bathroom; galley-style kitchen with oven, stove & microwave; living-room with sofa, TV & games; and a furnished deck to take in the morning sun, a BBQ dinner, or the starry skies at night. All powered by solar with composting amenities and grey-water systems that feed a sub-tropical syntropic fruit forest!
If needed, we can also accommodate some supplies for your arrival, such as basics from the local growers market (bread, cheese, milk etc available at cost). For special celebrations on the deck (just because you can), please enquire about our breakfast and dinner hampers, which are high quality pre-prepared meals & snacks from produce grown on the farm or sourced locally.
For walkers and artists, there are easy tracks through the property to a tree-swing, paddocks full of friendly cows, and the creek and rainforest (where you may see koalas).
While we are pet-friendly, we also note that there are livestock and working dogs on the property and recommend that your pet be setup on the verandah and walked to take care of daily business. It is not advisable for pets be left to roam.
