About this property
The Bank House
Step into the Bank House Mount Victoria, one of three attached heritage listed Victorian terrace houses that once formed the first Mount Victoria Royal Bank during the 1880s.
The Bank House has the perfect balance between features from its bygone era and modern comforts. Lovingly restored by two generations, the terrace retains original features such as the stained-glass windows and ornamental fireplaces along with fully equipped, updated and stylish kitchen and bathroom.
You will be staying at Mount Victoria, the highest point of the Blue Mountains, the most historic and heritage listed town in the Mountains. Mount Victoria is also the perfect position to explore other towns in the Blue Mountains, the Central West, Jenolan Caves and towns along the historic Bells Line of Road. The Bank House is centrally located within walking distance to Cafes, Antique stores, a Museum, the Historic Mount Vic Flicks Cinema and Train Station.
The Bank House overlooks a garden block which backs onto Mount Victoria Memorial Park. There is a private courtyard with seating at the back, as well as a fire-pit. Some areas of the garden may be shared with guests staying in the attached terraces next door.
