Raccoon House

We found a raccoon on the first day of the stay and immediately let the property owner know. She said she had sent an exterminator and the property should have been clean to stay. She never offered to send someone to remove the raccoon. I contacted VRBO and then evolve. Was offered full refund to leave however there were no rooms in the area at our price. Was then offered a 20% refund. The raccoon was in the house. Left feces and urine in the kitchen. We had to clean the house in order to stay. The smell persisted even after we thoroughly cleaned. I will not settle for anything less than a full refund. We removed the raccoon ourselves. We cleaned the mess. The raccoon destroyed groceries. If you are reading this do not stay in this house. Not only is it not properly maintained, it is in a very run down neighborhood. Not worth the hassle.
