Just okay

The location is great and it is a cute little place but I’ve stayed at better vrbo’s. 4.5 hours after check-in time I received a message from the host that the locks were causing some issues and there are keys available in a lock box. The upstairs tenants told me that when I arrived which was very confusing as I knew nothing about keys at the time, just the lock codes for access. I asked the host for some towels at that point and was told he would check with the cleaners in the morning, I never got the towels or a response about the towels. I did in fact get a couple more messages about the locks and a missing blanket concern for the upstairs guests. The mattress and hide a bed mattresses were both very uncomfortable and the mattress cover and extra bedding was not clean. There are laundry facilities to use but no dryer sheets as stated and the upstairs suite had a lot of turnover in the week so access to the laundry was limited. All the dishes (limited) and the Keurig machine were extremely dirty. There were no light breakfast items and the condiments were just salt and pepper. The bathroom light did not work so a three bulb lamp was in the bathroom with one working bulb. There is a soap dispenser in the shower that is broken with a pile of soap on the shower floor. There is not street parking in front of the house and the “no parking signs” are not right in front of the house so be careful with that. You can park on one of the side streets without a permit.
