Wonderful location in spacious property
A’driveway’ through a gate takes you to this lovely property which was once a school. The grounds are spacious and offer lots of places to sit. Located in the countryside, the views from inside the house and verandah of mount Barney are spectacular . . The house is spacious, clean and well equipped and the furnishing celebrates the heritage of the property and modern living. We loved it

Great place
We drove down in the evening and arrived in the dark. The house (an old school classroom for the living space).was really nice. Well appointed, with two large bedrooms. We woke up to spectacular views in three directions to different mountains. Hikes at Mount Barney are only 15 minutes away so we did Lower Portals one day and had a chilly but lovely swim in the gorge. The next day we drove a little further the Queen Mary Falls and Daggs Falls. So many interesting things to explore around the property. A lot of history that would be good to learn more about. Cows pass up the road in the afternoon heading to be milked. We enjoyed cheeseboards and wine watching the beautiful sunsets. Great place!
