About the host
Hosted by Steve

My name is Steve, I am friendly and accommodating. I also like socializing, eating, talking and drinking with guests but we don't always have time to do that. My telephone number or social links are available upon request.
Why they chose this property
Akiu Canada is a supernatural place blessed by the gods. Visiting here means you hope to become one with nature! Campsite, ryokan, onsen, and housing projects are aimed at providing guests a chance to experience Akiu-Canada, the only English speaking resort in Sendai. This natural hot spring was discovered centuries ago and it is completely surrounded by nature. We hope to bring you a natural experience at a reasonable price.
What makes this property unique
A natural hot spring was discovered here more than 100 years ago. An injured Stork stood in a puddle of warm water and after awhile, it's leg healed and it flew away. That's the story of Konosu Onsen. The spring still runs and is Sodium based. The onsen is good for healing skin diseases. For example, cuts heal very quickly. The hotel is almost 100 years old. You can walk through it. It's like a museum. The river is very beautiful and there is also an old tunnel that we can explore.
