A quiet, lovely spot
A beautiful home with a fully equipped kitchen, large livingroom, additional smaller livingroom on the same floor, wrap-around deck, barbeque, firepit--and bikes! Not waterfront, but close to several beaches. For those wanting quiet, an excellent spot. For those with kids, there's lots to do--and the extra livingroom, well-stocked with games and its own TV, gives lots of things to do for rainy days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

About the host

Host profile image
Howdy, I purchased this property in June 2024 which has been an established Airbnb and VRBO rental for three years previous, with 5-star ratings. I plan to continue this. I am renting it to help me with carrying costs until can retire and move here fulltime in about 6 years from now. So with this being my future home, it will be meticulously looked after for you and I and I will continue to improve it. I am seeking guests that are not here to party. Ideally families, retired folks, and quiet couples seeking a getaway. I will allow one service dog only.

Why they chose this property

My family has had a cottage in Red Bay since 1954 and I can tell you that there is nowhere else I would rather be. No crowds, noise, traffic or headaches just beautiful surroundings for virtually anything outdoor types would like to do.

What makes this property unique

The location! Perfect for family's, I spent all of my 49 summers here and now have 4 teenaged children of my own, so I know. It is so central to everything the Bruce has to offer and laid out in my desciption.
