Peakview Lodge Summar
Summary:
This original 1980's home is set in a quiet area, easy walking distance from town, the lake and the famous “Wānaka Tree”.
Peakview Lodge is ideal for entertaining with a dining table which seats 8. The generous, open plan kitchen is well equipped with new appliances including two ovens, two dish drawers and a large fridge/freezer. The dining and living area upstairs is very sunny and warm with a great view of Roy’s Peak.
The Space:
The house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and two separate living rooms.
Upstairs is a king master bedroom with ensuite, and a twin single bedroom which can be converted to a king.
Downstairs are two queen sized bedrooms, a second bathroom, separate toilet and second living room with smart TV and soundbar. Separate cooking facilities are also available.
The house is well heated with a heat pump and log burner upstairs, and underfloor heating downstairs. Additional heaters are provided, and all beds have electric blankets.
A separate laundry room has two washing machines and two dryers and easy access to an outdoor clothesline. A clothes rack, steamer, iron and ironing board are available.
The double garage, with internal access, has room for one additional vehicle. The adjacent storage room has plenty of space for skis, boards, bikes and golf clubs.
The deck is ideal for little ones to play on or for adults to enjoy drinks watching the sunset.
The Neighborhood:
Peakview Lodge is just a short stroll to the lake’s edge, the famous Wanaka Tree, the rowing club and Wanaka Station Park. The Edgewater Resort is just a walk away for morning scones and coffee or an evening meal.
Skiing at Treble Cone and Cardrona, hiking, cycle trails, horse riding, wine tasting, walking and many more activities in the area can all be enjoyed within a walk or a short drive.
