Elegant Private Room with Ensuite & Balcony in Rye

Summary:
Your SEAHORSE room is the master bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite facilities. We provide only the essentials, so it may not suit your needs if seeking luxury. Located on the first floor, it has a separate entrance for privacy. Your entrance is next to our main entrance, but we primarily use two other side entrances. Your room is adjacent to our living room, but the door is locked to keep it separate. In front of your room is a covered balcony with Adirondack chairs and a hanging egg chair.

* Shared outdoor shower and foot wash facility for guests returning from the beach

Guest Access:
Located at the front of the house, your SEAHOURSE room is accessible via a private entrance upstairs. Please note that you will need to climb a flight of stairs from the shared driveway to reach your room.

Upon arrival, we will personally meet and greet you to hand over the room key. If we are not available, clear instructions will be provided via message on how to locate the key for self check-in.

Our property is registered with the Mornington Peninsula Shire, under the Short Stay Rental Accommodation Local Law 2018. Registration Number STRA0163/24

You must abide by the Morning Peninsula Shire’s short stay rental accommodation Code of Conduct which, among other things, states that –
• No loud and aggressive behaviour
• Yelling, screaming and arguing, and
• Cheering, clapping and singing etc.

Quiet times are:

Monday to Thursday: between 10pm and 7am
Friday: between 11pm and 7am
Saturday and public holidays: between 11pm and 9am
Sunday: between 10pm and 9am

If you need anything during your stay, please do not hesitate to give us a direct call or send SMS. We shall try our best to attend to your queries/needs.

We kindly request our guests not to use high heels or drag wheeled luggage, furniture as they leave scratch marks on the soft Baltic pine floorboards.

Upon returning from beach, please wash sands from your body/feet at the outdoor common shower provided, before entering your room.

No smoking or vaping is permitted inside your room. You can smoke/vape in the covered balcony outside your room, ensuring your room’s door is closed.

When checking out, you can leave the door key in the room and the door unlocked. Please maintain our check-out time unless arranged prior to booking, so that the room can be cleaned by professional cleaners before the next guest's arrival.

We have a family of ringtail possums who visit our backyards running and walking on the metal roof at night. If their noise is a concern to you, you may want to look for an alternative accommodation. These cuties are protected under the Wildlife Act 1975. Please do not feed them, and we can not remove them as per the Wildlife Act.
