Get ready for your winter get away. Enjoy everything Jim Smith Lake has to offer in your own private home. The home includes a bar and poker table in the basement and all the amenities you may need. Outside there are 3 propane fire tables and 1 fire pit. Enjoy your own private dock and other outdoor activities for the whole family. After a full day of ice fishing or fall hiking, relax in our 5 man hot tub.
You will get to enjoy the surrounding wildlife while being only 10 mins away from the town of Cranbrook.
We have a pack and play available on the property as well as many games for those rainy days.
Jim Smith lake is a perfect place for your whole family to relax, play and just be together.
In the winter the lake is a fantastic place for ice fishing as Jim Smith Lake is stocked. paddle board and life jackets available at the lake house.
Kimberly alpine resort ski hill is 39km from the property

Relaxing Getaway
Such a beautiful view! It was the perfect spot for our quiet family getaway. The place itself is cozy, had everything we needed (and more bonuses we loved), with many different areas of the house to sit and relax and enjoy the view. This is also a great home base to explore the surrounding area, which the host provides a great guide of activities and places to check out. The host was so good at communicating with any questions we had and accommodating our requests. We will definitely be back, except this time we will book a longer stay!

Why they chose this property

There is nothing better then waking up in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee over looking the lake on 1 of our many decks. Our kids love to spend hours on the dock swimming and taking in the sun.

What makes this property unique

We have a lake and the ability to see the mountains all in 1 view. Whether you are on our deck, sitting in the hot tub or doing dishes in the kitchen.
