About this property
THE REPOSE - Charming cottage, beautifully restored in the heart of Dubbo.
Cross the timber threshold, worn by a century of feet entering the cottage.
Feel the weight drop off your shoulders.
Here is rest and home comfort.
THE REPOSE is a place to linger long. Enjoy the entire cottage and garden oasis to yourself - the perfect space for a private getaway, couple's retreat, or road trip with friends. We offer one MASTER bedroom and one QUEEN room accommodating up to 4 adults.
Built as accommodation for miners in the early 1900's, this quaint row of timber cottages was transported from Cobar in central NSW. The original documents date back to c. 1904.The high timber ceilings and original timber flooring have been restored by hand. The long hallway has been installed with a row of reclaimed French windows and doors to welcome the light and breeze. The outhouse is purposefully connected with a modern walkway leading to a luxury crafted bathroom and the utterly private courtyard.
Imperfection is a reminder of the personal craftsmanship that shines in the uniqueness of each room and each space.
