A modern kitchen is equipped with new small fridge, small stove and microwave. The bathroom has a new shower and new composting toilet. The custom designed 340 sf bachelor layout has a cozy bedroom space plus an open concept living / kitchen area. The coffee table top pulls up to create a desk surface in front of the pullout couch. And if needed, an air-conditioning unit. All 12 windows in the cabin have a view of trees.

Outside, you can relax and listen to the wind sighing through the pine trees. Have a nap in a hammock nestled between the cottage and the lake. Lounge on the deck chairs or on the dock. Meditate on the deck or on a mossy nook overlooking the water. You'll be serenaded by loonsong and whippoorwills . Grill your favourite meals on the BBQ.
A stairway from the deck leads two flights down to a deepwater floating dock that gets hours of full afternoon sun and sunset view. On hot days you can cool off in the forest shade and swim right off the dock. Water entry is deep - about 20 feet so you can't wade in but there is a sturdy ladder on the dock for getting in or out of the lake. There's a canoe available to paddle around the lake and then down a creek to another lake and river. There are 12 km of waterways to explore without portaging. In addition, there are two plastic kayaks for water fun. The deck is positioned for perfect privacy to enjoy the breeze, shade, sun, sunset and outdoor dining. Due to the rugged grounds, the property is generally not suited for those with mobility issues. Due to the proximity of a cliff edge and the deepness of the water at the dock it is not suited for children under the age of 12.
There is a great local restaurant 3 km from the cottage that offers take-out. For supplies, there is a small town 10 km away with a variety store, gas station and restaurants. Full grocery and more stores and services are available 20 km away in a larger town.
