About this property
Loon Lookout Summer Getaway: Kayak, Canoe, SUP
Welcome to Loon Lookout! This new, freshly built, pet friendly cottage is a haven for guests seeking an unforgettable retreat. Nestled on 22 acres, you'll find yourself immersed in the beauty of the Canadian wilderness.
Here's what you'll love:
- Entertainment: board games, ping pong & Netflix
- Watercrafts: kayak, canoe & paddle board
- Stocked kitchen with brand new appliances
The cottage has a high chair & pack n' play, perfect for families!
Loon Lookout is your perfect escape to the serene beauty of the Canadian wilderness.
This spring-fed lake offers relaxation and rejuvenation. Canoe and kayak in peace. You will be happy to discover that motors are prohibited, ensuring a tranquil experience free from noise pollution. Dive into the deep, clean waters or star gaze at night on the dock.
True to its name, the property is lucky to have a Loon’s nest across from the dock that is occupied by a pair of Loons (nicknamed Bob and Sheryl). Please respect their space so that they will continue to live here on Hooton Lake. Due to the proximity to Crown land there is an abundance of wildlife that you may come across.
Nature is great but so are modern creature comforts. This cottage is fully equipped to host and entertain your family and friends, with a chef's kitchen and modern appliances. The internet is fast and reliable so you can Netflix and chill or work without interruption! A generator is also onsite for peace of mind.
Although you are immersed in the great outdoors, you are also just a short drive away from the town of Parry Sound for all the supplies and Starbucks you need.
Curl up by the fire with a craft local brew and good book or roast marshmallows with the kids! There is a wood-burning stove, outdoor fire table and two fire pits. Firewood is available onsite.
For families with small children, there are many amenities, such as highchairs, a play area, pack-n-play, baby gates, noise machine, and baby monitors get service on the dock! For the adults that are young at heart, we have outdoor games, board games and a ping-pong table.
The contemporary design was inspired to be comfortable yet close to nature. Large windows are featured in all the rooms, bringing the outside in.
