- Things To Note -
The Inkwell is a heritage listed circa 1907 building with living expanding over two levels therefore stairs are to be expected, along with a few low doorways and a non-traditional floorplan, it's why we love it! The Inkwell is not suitable for pets, children or those who may not be comfortable with stairs
My little spot here in the heart of Port Adelaide is much like any little city during the week, and can be a little sleepy on weekends depending on what’s happening in The Port. The Inkwell is city apartment living at its best and while you do have your own space over two levels, neighbours are close and general city buzz is common depending on the day and events that may be happening in The Port.
Kitchen
The Inkwell kitchen is equipped with a range of local lovely staples
- Salt + Pepper
- Local Olive Oil
- Locally roasted coffee and pour over coffee making equipment
- Local artisan organic loose leaf tea
- Organic dried citrus to garnish your evening cocktails
The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, toaster, oven, gas two burner stovetop, dishwasher along with kitchen basics to whip up amazing meals. In keeping with a return to an unhurried time you won’t find a microwave at The Inkwell.
Bathroom
The industrial inspired bathroom includes a gorgeous rain showerhead, bathroom basics, and Hunter Lab's shampoo, conditioner and body wash. With living sprawling across two levels the bathroom and bedroom are located on different levels. Also note there is no tub if long soaks in the bath is your thing.

About the host

Nice to meet you! Here is a little more about me… My life has been an adventurous one, living abroad for many years; I honestly thought I would never return home but here I am in a little historic city. I’m a lover of heritage homes, a compulsive renovator and there is nothing that brings more joy than creating a sanctuary. The Inkwell is my retreat from a busy world, my place to nap, read, dream, explore the old streets, wander along river and feel the salty air on my face. Every time I step through the double doors I feel like I return to an unhurried time, I hope you feel it too!
