This beautifully-restored home is only a short walk to Paine Hollow Town Landing. Comprised of two wings (the original house built in 1850) and the addition (built a century later), the first floor contains the main living areas, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are two separate second floor areas, each accessed by a separate stairway. One with two bedrooms and the other (original house) with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a sitting area.

Newly-painted and restored, wood floors (some the original pine floors) throughout. The house has comfortable places to congregate and plenty of room for everyone.

From the driveway, enter a foyer in the addition wing. Just off the foyer is a bedroom with a queen bed and a ductless mini-split a/c and a full bathroom with tub/shower. Steps lead from the foyer to the second floor, where there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and a ductless mini-split a/c and one with two twin beds and a window unit a/c.

Back on the first floor in the original wing, the renovated kitchen has stainless appliances including a smooth surface range and plenty of workspace. The washer/dryer are conveniently located in a closet in the kitchen.

Just off the kitchen is a delightful screen porch with vaulted ceiling, large dining table and lounge chairs. The ideal spot for meals, conversation, games and relaxation.

From the kitchen, head into the separate dining room with large table. Beyond the dining room is the cozy living room with comfortable seating, flat screen TV with cable and Apple TV. There is another bedroom with a queen bed and ductless split unit a/c and a bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower.

Just off the living room is the home's original front entryway with steps leading to the second floor. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twins. Both of these second floor rooms have a window A/C. There is also a bathroom with shower and a small sitting area ideal for curling up with a book or catching up on emails.

The lovely grounds feature plenty of trees and mature plantings. Just off the screen porch is a small deck with an enclosed outdoor shower and the grilling area. On the other side of the house there is a firepit with Adirondack chairs--shooting stars, and s'mores, anyone?

This charming property is 0.3 mi to the Paine Hollow Town Landing--a great place to launch your kayak. Enjoy exploring the conservation trails at Fox Island Marsh and the Pilgrim Spring Conservation Area. **** CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY ****
Upon cancellation for ANY reason, money will be refunded less a 20% service fee of the total rental amount due, ONLY if the property is re-rented for the same terms and conditions of the original Agreement. Tenant further acknowledges and agrees that where Kinlin Grover undertakes to re-let the property, the rental fee to be charged to the substitute tenant shall be in an amount to be determined in the reasonable discretion of Kinlin Grover and Owner. Tenant agrees that any cancellation of the reservation, undertaken at any time, shall not be effective unless in writing and delivered to Kinlin Grover.
