Please bring your own linen and towels. Pillows, pillowcases, duvets with covers, and extra blankets are provided.
A fish filleting bench is conveniently situated outside. Embrace your inner chef in our fully equipped kitchen or BBQ on the deck – cooking up the catch of the day, with one of the best sea views in the bay.
Entertainment options abound with Starlink's unlimited fast-speed Wi-Fi, cellphone coverage, Chromecast, DVD player & DVDs, books, magazines, jigsaw puzzles, and games to enjoy. There are also toys for children to explore on a rainy day.
You will find tea, coffee, and sugar are provided. All drinking water must be boiled before drinking, you will find ample water in the fridge.
For the adventurous souls, seize the opportunity to explore the waters with our complimentary fishing gear and bait, or simply unwind basking in the hammock with a full sea view, sun, and serenity of nature.
With the sea within walking distance, explore the village surrounded by native bush, with a grassy picnic area, wharf – a great spot to fish from, and boat launching ramp with ample parking for vehicles with boat trailers.
There are lots of native bushwalks and attractions to explore – the start of the Nydia Track - 15 minutes along this track takes you to Pipi Beach, the best swimming spot. If you are looking for solitude, the Old Stone Wharf is a unique, peaceful spot to soak up the panoramic sea views. At the top of Matai Street is the bushwalk up to the source of our water. Other bushwalks are also close.
The next bay, Penzance, is only a short drive away for more beautiful sea and bush adventures.
Driving from Nelson usually takes just over an hour, from Blenheim 1.5 hours, and from Picton ferry just under 2 hours. Please note Tennyson Inlet Road over Opouri Saddle is sealed yet narrow and windy. Enjoy the scenic route and drive safely.
You are welcome to bring your canine best friend. 1 dog only please, preferably outside, but a dog blanket is provided inside. Please do not allow your dog on the beds or couch. Dogs need to be on a leash when walking around the village, and please pick up any deposits they leave along your walk.
Please take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave as there is no roadside rubbish collection.
Please ask if you have any queries and we will see if we can help.
Your comfort is our priority, and we invite you to experience Tennyson Sea View – where every moment is a cherished memory waiting to be made.
