Want to be close to downtown but not IN it? This 1100+ sq. ft. bungalow is a 10-minute drive, with a quiet location only two blocks from the Douglas Fir trail north of the Shaganappi Golf Course. Being in the southwest part of Calgary, you'll reach the city limits within 15 minutes if you are heading to Banff or Canmore.
NOTE: Your main-floor space is entirely yours—there are no shared rooms. We (your hosts) are two professionals who have moved downstairs. We have reserved the upper deck and hot tub for your exclusive use.

2) Community and social guidelines:
Please note that we have indicated that events are not permitted. However, small social gatherings are welcomed if you let us know first. We will not tolerate expansion of our stated limits without prior discussion, approval, and planned mitigation. We are a residential neighbourhood, and our neighbours' right to quiet enjoyment will be immediately curtailed by one warning and a second notice of eviction.
Overnight guests beyond the stated limit must be reported to the hosts for approval and recommended instructions.
3) We are dog-friendly.
• We will give them a friend, Ruby, who adjusts her energy to all the canine vibes—from young to old, enthusiastic to chill
• Our dog has dug up the backyard. (We have given up.) If you go into the backyard with your pooch, watch for tripping hazards.
4) Safety never takes a day off:
• "Fire blanket" solution installed in the kitchen.
• Hard-wired smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
• Please exercise caution when using the hot tub:
o Stay hydrated
o Take breaks to avoid heat exhaustion
o Avoid icy spots that may develop on the path to the kitchen during the winter months and
o Never have a nap or overindulge when relaxing.
• Like our house, the sidewalks are from the 1950s. Look out for some uneven spots between sections.
• Security system through Telus. You can see anybody at your front door through the security camera
