About the host
Hosted by Adam Newlands

I work part time for the public service and (very) part time as a server-sommelier at a casual fine dining restaurant here in town.
We used Airbnb for the first time in 2011, we rented a place in St Viateur (Montrea) and it was fabulous!
Sylvia's mum (Granny) lives with us in the winter & in the summer we rent out her Granny suite. We live in the original house, and the studio is at the back of our house on the main level.

Why they chose this property
The Museum District in Carleton Place is a charming and friendly neighborhood, offering a mix of local history, culture, and small-town warmth.
We chose this area for its safe, welcoming atmosphere and its walkable distance to everything downtown has to offer.
Strolling around downtown you’ll find cozy cafes, unique shops, and beautiful heritage buildings,
Right in our backyard is a community labyrinth & the Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum, which brings the town's history to life.
What we enjoy most is the sense of community, neighbors greet you with a smile and the vibe is both relaxed and inviting.
