About this property
Four Bedroom Home Boasting Serene River + Mountain Views in Port Sorell!
Just a stones' throw away from the pristine waters of the Rubicon River, enjoy one of Tasmania's most popular coastal destinations.
With ample room for two families, enjoy this spacious four-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Port Sorell, where spectacular river views will stun you from sunrise to sunset.
Enjoy cozy nights by the fire with a wine or whisky in hand, take a hot bath, or unwind in the TV room upstairs over a favourite movie or two.
We'd love to host your perfect family getaway!
This spacious and luxurious home is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, with plenty of room to park the cars and boat. We believe it has the perfect mix for both a relaxing getaway and adventure-filled stay, simply unwind in complete comfort and enjoy the convenience of this prime coastal location.
Newly renovated and thoughtfully furnished, we want your stay to be the most relaxing and memorable yet! We've placed heaters in every room for those frosty Tassie mornings, and to cap it off a large new wood-burner has been installed (firewood supplied!) to keep you toasty.
To feel like you're truly on holiday, new appliances are provided for your enjoyment. Throw a line in the river, catch and cook some local fish on the Weber BBQ, then complete your feast in our well-equipped and sparkling new kitchen.
Once you’ve loaded the dishwasher, enjoy a hot bath and vino in one of the two freshly updated bathrooms, then retire to the lounge, light the fire, and stream your movies on a new 65” Samsung smart TV. If the kids think your movie choice is sub-standard, send them upstairs…they’ll enjoy their own selection on the second smart TV from the comfort of eight large leather bean bags.
When the credits start rolling and the eyelids are heavy, four spacious bedrooms await up to eight sleepy souls. With three brand new luxurious queen beds and two king single beds, you’ll sleep in comfort and style, rejuvenated and ready to go again. All bedrooms have large wardrobes, with more than ample space to unpack those heavy suitcases and truly settle in for the duration.
If getting up and going is your thing, enjoy a delicious breakfast and caffeine hit at The Workshop Café, just a five-minute walk along the picturesque Panatana Rivulet, then hop to the Trend Shed just two blocks over for your second hit.
Perfectly situated for the fishing and skiing enthusiasts, it's only a one-minute drive around the block to the popular and well-equipped Port Sorell boat ramp. Don the skis and enjoy the sheltered waters of Squeaking Point at high tide, or Springlawn just across from the boat ramp has been popular with locals and holidaymakers for generations. Port Sorell is also a renowned fishery for the delicious King George Whiting, flathead, gummy shark, snapper, crayfish, and more recently, the southern bluefin tuna. So bring the boat or jetski, there’s ample parking space on the property after a solid day’s catch.
The yard is fully fenced and perfect for the kids, however if they need to expend some energy, set them free in the local park and paddling pool (summer only!) just at the end of the street. On a full-tide, the rivulet is always an enticing spot for a summer dip.
All within walking distance, are free and pay-for-entry tennis courts (with lights), a local cricket field equipped with practice nets, and the ever- popular golf course at the Shearwater country club.
