About this property

Seclusion, Tram, Native Bush, Wineries, Beaches, Melbourne Icon, Village nearby

Stay in a Melbourne Icon! This iconic W-class Tram was built in Melbourne before 1952 and was servicing commuters until 1992.

Situated on a working farm, home to sheep, alpacas and a vineyard, this is not a cabin in the backyard of a suburban area, it is surrounded by acres of natural bush and parkland providing you complete privacy during your stay with all the modern comforts of home.

Being of historical significance to our great city, the Tram has been restored and renovated with one bedroom, dining area and original seating area retaining original features such as signs, shutters and flooring all brought back to life, the graffiti retained. The tram features English designer fabrics, designer wallpaper, antique furniture and a warm ambient setting. The extension of the Tram has open plan living, with lounge chairs, TV, split system and wood fire to enjoy. The kitchenette has microwave, fridge, Smeg coffee machine, toaster and kettle. A modern bathroom with a huge shower, stocked with natural body and hair care products. The front deck invites you on your unique holiday, to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature.

The surrounding acres of bush are yours exclusively to explore during your stay. Positioned a kilometre from the nearest roads, enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the natural bush setting and the abundant bird life and other native wildlife including tawny frogmouth, parrots, owls and honeyeaters - to name a few. Unwind and relax while savouring a picnic near the pond or a barbeque on the deck.

A great toy for a tram enthusiast
For a man who drove trams many years ago a fantastic experience. Drove this same tram #72. Ist class appointments all through the establishment extremely comfortable, peaceful and quiet. Would recommend to all.

Beautiful bush setting- quality of carriage accom and attached cabin exceeded expectations by far.
Lovely - peaceful - quality appliance/bedding and styling. Felt like a gorgeous hotel but with the serenity and privacy of the bush surroundings. Restoration of the tram into accom was done beautifully! First place was stacked and ready to light - chocolates - coffee and snacks were appreciated! Owners responsive friendly and happy to assist if we needed anything. Would stay again without hesitation :) Thankyou 💜👊🙏
