About the host
Hosted by Madeline Ross

We’re a couple, in our late 30s who love to travel and explore new cities. We live in nature all year round on a ski mountain in Quebec so we’re always looking to go on nature excursions. We also both have a background in hospitality and are super social people. We have a great love of music and getting to know new cultures and new people!
Why they chose this property
We live directly on Mount Sutton, 5 minutes from the village and 5 minutes from the ski lifts. Our small community is situated on one of the only lakes (or large ponds) on the mountain that has a small private beach with mountain spring water that keeps it cool all summer. It is ideal for a variety of activities all year round, apart from skiing / snowboarding there are incredible hiking trails, biking trails and mountain climbing opportunities near by. This gives for epic mountain views throughout our little community and a ton of diverse Nature. Sutton is a charming village that seems to attract nature lovers and creatives alike. Apart from the lovely boutique shopping, it has with everything you could need from a culinary perspective, including an incredible bakery, great restaurants, excellent brewery, natural wine bar/store, famous Montreal style bagel house and local coffee roasters. We are 25 minutes from the charming town of Knowlton made famous by mystery writer Louise Penny, 25 minutes from Bromont ski mountain and 40 minutes from Jay Peak in Vermont (pack your passport!). For those that prefer relaxing in the winter, you are situated in spa heaven, within 20 minutes you have access to Spa Balnea, Spa Bolton and in 45 minutes Spa Eastman.
