The Premium Guest Suite is located in a walk-out basement of my house, situated in an incredibly beautiful, green, and peaceful area—like an oasis at the foot of the mountain. What makes my property unique is its proximity to the highway while remaining completely free from highway noise. It takes only five to eight minutes to drive to, making it convenient to reach any destination. There are also two bus stops within walking distance.
The guest suite itself, including the bedrooms, bathroom, hallway, dining room, and kitchen, occupies 851 sq ft. It has windows in each bedroom. The unique design of the suite, executed in an exclusive style, adds to its charm and appeal.
One bedroom is the Premier Bedroom (202 sq ft), which is spacious and considered a master bedroom, and the other is the Deluxe Bedroom (89 sq ft), which is smaller yet cozy.
The Premier Bedroom features a King-size mattress, the Deluxe Bedroom has a Queen mattress, and the Dining Room includes a fold-out sofa bed that is Double.
Each bedroom has its own heater with a thermostat on the wall near the heater. You can set up your preferred temperature and it will keep it during your stay.
The entrance to the two-bedroom suite is in the backyard. From the driveway, go to the right side of the house.
While your suite is separate and private, please note that it is part of our home, so you might occasionally hear our movements, as upstairs footsteps are typically audible in basements. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 5 am. Our children are already grown, so you’re unlikely to experience significant noise. We always take into account that our guests want maximum comfort and do our best to avoid making noise whenever possible. However, please keep in mind that some noise may still be audible to avoid any misunderstandings and ensure your comfort. Very rarely, you might hear our poodle if someone rings the doorbell. Sometimes, he gets excited and joyfully moves around for a few minutes when we return home, so you might hear him during these moments. However, he is generally a calm, adult dog who loves to sleep all day. He’s hypoallergenic, doesn’t shed, and doesn’t have any odors. I mention this so you’re aware, even though we won’t interact.
Amenities:
Please make yourself at home and enjoy the complimentary snack bar. You’ll also find coffee and a selection of teas for your enjoyment. We provide free WiFi, Netflix, and parking. All appliances and furniture in the unit are in excellent condition, including two of 55“HD TVs and 43”HD TV, fridge, microwave, Delonghi coffee machine, kettle, toaster, induction cooktop, oven, air cooler, Dyson hairdryer, Dyson robot vacuum, Dyson purifier, and steamer. The highlights are very comfortable king-size mattress and magnificent hybrid queen-size mattress, also new. Bedding, blankets, and pillows are regularly updated. We also provide office supplies, including pens, paper, and a universal charger, for your convenience.
Water to drink:
The tap water in North Vancouver is excellent and perfectly safe to drink.
Services:
We offer breakfast upon request, subject to availability. To ensure we can accommodate your needs, please confirm dates in advance. You don’t need to go anywhere in the morning—you can enjoy a delicious breakfast right here, including organic homemade sourdough bread, as my husband is a professional baker who bakes bread and pastries for us. We provide a menu to choose from. The cost of breakfast is $15 per person. We also offer different types of coffee, such as espresso and cappuccino, at an additional cost based on your preferences. I can deliver your breakfast or coffee through the connected internal door, which can be opened from my side by mutual agreement.
Additionally, I can prepare exclusive and delicious dinners upon request, almost like restaurant-quality meals, not typical homemade food. If you’re interested in having dinner here without going out, just let me know. I can send you the menu options and prices. Upon request, I can also set up a table for breakfast or dinner outside.
Please ensure to confirm dates in advance for both breakfast and dinner services to check my availability.
You can also request additional cleaning or laundry services if needed. The cost of these services will depend on your specific requirements, which we can discuss upon your request.
You’ll have the chance to experience all this and more, making your stay truly special and unforgettable.

Why they chose this property

You’ll understand why I chose this neighbourhood as soon as you turn off Seymour Highway into our McCartney Creek neighbourhood. When I first made that turn, I fell in love with this area in an instant, in a split second. You’ll feel and understand it right away as soon as you make that turn.
As you turn into this neighbourhood, you're welcomed by the lush embrace of a forest nestled at the foot of a mountain. Towering green trees surround you, creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity, with only the gentle sounds of nature filling the air. Along the way, you’ll pass by a large, open field perfect for all sorts of sports—baseball, football, volleyball—and nearby, there are tennis courts and a charming playground. The street itself rises slightly, and as you drive through this serene, green expanse, you can see these recreational areas on the side.

The homes on the street are beautifully maintained, each one a testament to the care and pride of its owners. Our house is situated midway along this tranquil road. At the very top of the street, the road ends in a quiet cul-de-sac, ensuring there’s no through traffic—no buses, no passing cars—just the stillness of the neighbourhood. It’s always peaceful, except for the occasional distant cheers from the field during games. But even then, the sounds of excitement blend harmoniously with the surrounding calm.

Most of the time, it’s an oasis of perfect silence, where you can enjoy the natural sounds of the forest—the rustling of leaves, the singing of birds. This is a place where nature and serenity coexist, offering a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
