Total scam, filthy curtains, mold in vents and in shower
The unit was nothing like displayed in the pictures. The curtains in all rooms were filthy, there was mold covering all the vents on ceilings, and mold in both showers. No hot water available late at night for a shower. There was no body soap, shampoo or detergent to wash clothes so we were unable to shower first night. This is not the property you desire, unless you want to destroy the beautiful Hawaii vibe during your trip.

Royal Kahana
For the price this is a great find. You have a partial ocean view from the room. You have two bedrooms and a kitchen. Trying to find this at any of the resort hotels will cost you two or three times as much! This place is a great value. Now the building is not as nice as a resort and the pool is nice but basic. Amenities in the building are minimal. There was construction going on the building during our stay, June 2024. With proper expectations this is a great place to stay in west Maui.

A slice of Heaven
This was a nice day for the four of us. We were in town for my birthday as well as my good friend‘s 25th wedding anniversary. They were staying just down the street at another resort so the convenience of our place matched perfectly so that we had an easy drive to all places of interest. The bed was comfortable. The place was clean. Communication was on point and It was just big enough for the four of us. It is a little bit of an older complex however, the interior of the space has been renovated. I would stay here again since the price was relative to the accommodations. The only complaint that I would have and this is not the homeowners fault, is the fact that there was plumbing issues in the building or electrical, I was not sure, but there is a lot of jackhammering going on during the day. For the days that we were there resting, it didn’t give us a lot of time to rest, unfortunately. At the very least, we should have been informed that this was going to be going on. I’m sure it’s all finished now so other than this one issue, we would stay here again.

Great Deal!
We had a wonderful stay. The unit is recently upgraded with fresh new kitchen appliances. It’s spacious and well laid out with the two bedrooms on opposite sides and living room and dining room in between. The beds were super comfortable. Location is perfect, right on the ocean. Sonia was an excellent host, always quick to respond. We would love to return.

Beautiful Maui Oasis
Beautiful well maintained and up to date condo with everything one needs! Lana with a clear view of ocean and pool. Highly recommend this property for its relaxation and for the location. Less then 10 minutes for Kaanapali and Lahaina cities. Several gorgeous beaches and bays within a miles north and south.

We were disappointed…on arrival found water on the bathroom floor coming from the ceiling. We arrived on Friday and it wasn’t fixed until Tuesday. Using the toilet required sitting strategically in order to avoid being dripped on. The second bedroom fan was not secure and we informed the woman who came to check out the leak, but this wasn’t addressed during our stay. It was very hot in that room without air movement. Nextdoor and hallway construction included jack hammering starting at 9am each weekday morning. Could not enjoy the lanai or being in the condo because of the noise. The view was nice and the condo was well stocked.

Hawaii trip 2024
We decided to travel to Hawaii for the first time. The people in our family ranged from seven years old to 85. The condo was spectacular. It was an end unit so we were able to open the windows and enjoy the Hawaiian breeze daily. We did not turn on the air-conditioning for one day. The beds were comfortable, the condo is clean and well stocked. As a property, owner myself, the Swiss Chalet, Burt Lake, Michigan I must complement of the housekeeping staff. It is very difficult to keep a waterfront property so clean. The bathrooms were EV easy for my 85 year old mother to navigate who walks with a cane. My mother was able to ride the elevator to the basement floor and take the handicap ramp to the pool/beach front area. She and my children swim in the comfortably heated pool on a daily basis. We hope to come back and enjoy the condo in 2025.

Amazing condo! Amazing area! Amazing trip! The condo itself was perfect for my family. I personally could have set on the lanai for about 12 hours per day but we didn't, we stayed busy sightseeing and out at the beach. Great communication throughout. Great condo. Great owner.

Amazing Vacay Spot
We had a wonderful time staying at this amazing property. It was very well stocked, updated, very clean and had everything you need for a relaxing stay in Maui. It was close to fabulous beaches and stores you may need (just a short drive away). The view was spectacular and we enjoyed the sunset from the Lanai. The property manager was very prompt with communication and extremely helpful. Definitely a place to stay!

Beautiful views in a more established neighborhood
This condo was clean upon arrival and the view from the lanai was beautiful. We cooked dinner every night and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The twins in the additional bedroom were not as comfortable, per our 19 year old sons. Bed comfort is important to some travelers which is why I am including it. Overall, the condo was great and I would recommend. Cons: The only negative thing I have to say, which I blame on the weather, humidity and constant in/out from the ocean and pool from various visitors, is there seems to be a "musty" smell that lingers. It was not something that was intolerable, just something that we took notice to. Pros: There were plenty of chairs, an umbrella, pool towels, an ice chest, and a boogie board to use. We took advantage of this and it was great! The easy access to the beach was literally at your door step. There was a ping pong table that was enjoyable. There was a water refill station in the lobby that we used every day and the water was good! The ladies in the front, including the concierge, were extremely kind and helpful. This location was about 20 mins from the blow hole, an hour from zip lining, 15 mins to Whalers Village, and 20 mins to down town Lahaina. Very centralized to a lot of good things. Recommendation: rent snorkeling equipment from The Snorkel Store. Their prices and customer service was great.

Adult Getaway
This property was very well maintained, light, bright, and clean. Perfect unit for 4 adults to enjoy their stay. Kitchen was well-stocked, location was nice and a short drive away from the craziness of Lahaina. Really appreciated the beach towels, cooler, and boogie board. Check in process was very smooth and other than one very busy night, parking was always available in the front lot. Thank you, Sonja. Beautiful unit!

Not what I expected
My prior VRBO review submissions were in two categories: five stars or no review. But this one I thought merited some feedback. I agree with a previous reviewer (Irina) that the entire unit was maybe not as updated as expected, and was overpriced. In response to Irina's review, the host stated that wood shutters would hopefully be installed by March. FYI - those shutters were not installed by our stay which ended after the first week in April. The owner acknowledged the broken/cracked mirror we saw on arrival, the housekeeper acknowledged already knowing about the broken mirror and busted kitchen drawer. We removed one spider web in the window, and after the host told us to send further issues to housekeeping, we sent housekeeping a sample/picture of the dust that was accumulating on the walls/paint. Front door needed to be pulled/pushed a bit to make sure it locked. We noticed the balcony door was unlocked upon arrival, and we were unable to get it to lock. Wi-fi cut out a lot while trying to work (had issues with internet connectivity whether Apple, Android, or other device at all times of day/night). Ended up using mobile hotspot instead. Thought we were paying more than other options to get quality. But the unit was as Irina stated, just Okay.

Wonderful Condo
The condo was very spacious, the kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we have encountered on our various stays, the interior was very nicely decorated, clean, it was beyond comfortable. Sonia was very communicative and helpful, truly wanting us to enjoy our stay! We loved the ability to see the sun come up over the mountains and the sunset on the ocean. would definalty stay again!!

Excellent location, strange cold water issue
The condo was clean and matched the pictures well. The location was great with a phenomenal pool and a quiet beach right off the property. The building had a peculiar issue without functioning cold water (scalding hot water even filled the toilet tank). A work around was needed where you would have to run all of the faucets and flush the toilets in order to get cold water to run through the faucets. This unfortunately was not fixed during the entirety of our stay. However, the maintenance team was friendly and responsive despite the lack of success in fixing the issue.

Maui Time
Great location for exploring the Lahaina/ Kaanapali/Kapalua area. This unit is on the 5th floor and had a very nice view of the ocean and since we were there in March, we saw lots of whales without leaving the condo! The Kitchen was well equipped and we cooked breakfast every day and dinner there half the time for more family time. The beds are comfortable and the pull out couch was surprisingly comfortable as well. We went to the beach each day so we did not use the pool but it looks nice and a lot of people were using it. The sea levels were high so the hotel beach was not usable, but there are lots of beaches nearby so it was not a problem. We had a great family vacation there (5 adults total) and can’t wait to come back to Maui!

It was just Okay.
Stayed here for five nights and was expecting a little better experience. There were some parts of the condo I didn’t expect to be 30+ years old. The drapes seem to have never been replaced since the original owner and honestly you wouldn’t want to touch them with your bare hands. The windows and the surrounding areas were quite dirty as well. We did enjoy the very well stocked kitchen and the view from the balcony was amazing. Due to some building issues, we weren’t able to get hot water in the showers, which of course isn’t the owners fault, and we tried to get that resolved but to no avail. Beach access from the property was difficult to get to, as they have sand bags layed out and you have to carefully climb down them to get to the beach, no direct easy access. Pool area was just okay, didn’t use it much. Overall good location and condo, but honestly overpriced.
