About this property
Casa de Agua - Cool Comfort with Nature to Hike
Summary:
Casa de Agua greets you inside with cool air and colorful Mexican furniture throughout and outside with an awesome view of thousands of undeveloped acres on the Ranch next door. On this side of the fence there are 6 acres of nature to hike up A-mountain. Three bedrooms with new comfortable mattresses and smooth linens, two bathrooms, a 60 inch clawfoot bathtub where you can fully enjoy the natural well water, a comfortable office with high speed internet, a full kitchen, and a two car garage.
The Space:
Mule deer know. Bats and barn swallows, birds that call the desert home, and those that pass thru the Alps of Texas, like the painted buntings, blue herons, or ducks, are learning-some have stopped in, and just on the edge of Alpine, one mile south, lies Casa de Agua.
Through its windows, in the front yard, serenely place, is a pond. This is what the animals know. Looking out beyond the pond is the magnificent, wide-open, high desert. At the water's edge, the wild mountainous desert softened by this water oasis, calms the spirit and wicks happiness at each swoop of a bird coming for a desert drink. Mosquito fish dance in their pond and find habitat in up-cycled ash tree stumps and cattails that caress the desert landscape at each breeze. This view can be enjoyed sitting outside by the pond, inside from the living room, working from the office, or from the master bedroom. At night the Big Dipper and shooting stars can be seen right out the front door.
Loving nature, the yard around Case de Agua is organically landscaped without the use of chemicals and native plants like salvias, yellow bells, penstemons, Mexican bear grass, and wildflowers, etc. adorn and delight the human eye and provide sustenance to hummingbirds, bumble bees, and other bees of the desert.
Casa de Agua is a little bit city and a little bit country all swirled together, creating the perfect getaway, all awaiting only you!
