Sleeps up to 9. (Qn, Qn, 2XSingle, Sgl & Dbl Sofa Bed, Couch X2). Well equipped kitchen and pantry. Office workspace. 2 Cars. A/C, High speed internet, 55" Smart TV. Close to supermarkets, cafes, bars, trams and trains. Easy access to Melbourne CBD. Location and lifestyle. Enjoy.
The space
THE AVENUE

The house has a large open plan downstairs area incorporating family lounge room, kitchen, dining and additional lounge space and office. A powder room/toilet also features on the ground floor.

Upstairs has three large bedrooms and a forth bedroom/study is downstairs.

The Master Bedroom has a queen bed, ensuite bathroom with accessible shower (no step) and generous built in wardrobes. There's also a single sofa bed that is suitable for a child. Large smart TV in this room.

The second bedroom has queen bed with enough space to set up the travel cot.

The third bedroom has 2 single beds.

Forth bedroom/study has a double sofa bed and room divider screen for privacy and a useful workstation desk this is perfect for working from home. The study services as a second living space with the couch and a Smart TV.

All bedrooms have wardrobes, air conditioning and sunny outlooks with black out curtains.

Comfortable mattresses and hotel quality linen are provided.

The large family bathroom on the first floor has a deep bath with over bath shower.

The convenient, spacious laundry on the first floor has a washing machine and dryer.

The ground floor open plan living area contains the kitchen, meals and lounge area.

The kitchen features all the needed quality appliances and a well stocked pantry for cooking pleasure.

The ground floor living area has a large couch area with large smart TV supporting all the latest Apps (Netflix, Disney, Binge, Kayo, Apple TV). There is also a powder room for guests convenience on the ground floor.

Outdoor areas include a side deck with BBQ and front sunny secure garden with 4 seater table and chairs and outdoor lounge for relaxing.

The house is secured behind gates. The motorized gates are inoperative.

Secure off street parking is provided for 1 car with additional free parking on the street right outside the gate.

Nearby, ever popular Carlise Street has everything you may need during your stay with a choice of many cafes, restaurants, shops and supermarkets.

The property is close to Balaclava Station that is just a 6 minute walk which is only 12 minutes by train to Melbourne's CBD.

The area is services by two frequent trams with routes 3 and 16.

The landmark, iconic Melbourne tourist destinations of the St.Kilda Botanical Gardens, St Kilda Beach, St.Kilda Pier with its Little Penguins, historic Luna Park amusement park, the upper Esplanade Sunday Arts and Craft market, and the café culture of Acland Street are just a convenient 15 minute walk away.

Sadly communication really let this experience down. From paying to check in I had to chase up every step of the way. With 2 hours to go I still had no idea how to access the property and no response through the App so numerous phone calls later it was finally resolved. Garbage was overflowing on arrival and stank, no response from the owners again over this issue. The property also needs a lot of maintenance to bring it up to scratch considering the prices charged. We enjoyed our stay but it could have been so much better.
