Before I get into the review- the property itself is fine. My issue is with the company running this apartment. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any accommodation. On arrival, one of the keys was broken and I could not get in to the unit. After hours in the phone with the company they told me to organise my own accommodation for the night. Before that, they tried to tell me I was opening the wrong door despite clear video proof I was in the right place. I was left for 5 hours sitting alone in the baking sun. The next day they were able to get a key to me. I ask them to reimburse me for the night I did not use and for the hundreds of dollars of groceries I lost that baked in my car while waiting. It took 5 days for them to respond and I was again told they thought I might be opening the wrong door despite the fact this had already been determined as untrue- absolutely no communication within the team. When they did reimburse me. They paid for the night plus 70. This company believes that loss of groceries, hours in the sun, and having to organise last minute accommodation in brisbane is a simple 70 fix.I understand that errors happen, but I should have been dealt with in a much faster and more communicative fashion. I caution anyone against staying here, as the moment something goes wrong they will not help.
