About this property

Sagebrush Caboose

Out in the wilds of the Okanagan desert, just this side of lost, is a place where you can walk down a serene path to finding you. You will find yourself diving deep into the fresh sage mountain air while enjoying nature, mountain scenery, privacy, and good times.

Our unique place offers a queen size bed in the loft, a kitchenette, full bathroom, dining table, a couch which can be a double bed, outdoor patio, and a shared, heated pool.

Many come to connect with nature and our patio will not disappoint. It has four Adirondack chairs, a small table, solar lights, BBQ, and endless views of the night sky.

While the kitchenette is small it is mighty. It has a sink, mini fridge, hot plate, dishes, towels, utensils, outdoor BBQ, and more. Also featured is a dining table big enough for four.

Our loft with queen size bed must be accessed using a ladder. Also there is a sofa on main floor that turns into a bed for two. Air conditioning included!

Come jump into our shared, heated pool! Search Face Book for Grasslands Oasis for more things to do!

This caboose's bathroom features a shower, vanity, and a toilet.

Unfortunately, due to supply issues, our plans of solar power and internet will not be an option for 2024. We run our cabin on remote power; there are two bars of LTE service at the outdoor patio and wifi at our pool. However, our guests love the wild, Okanagan desert and love to connect with each other.

Fantastic getaway from the daily grind!
Our stay was incredible! The tiny home is really well built and nice. The owner has created a fantastic space with an outdoor table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. While we were here, we felt like we were so close to nature. I took my son out on numerous hikes around the property and up in the hills above the cabin. The wood burning stove was so cozy and warm and made the house feel like a tiny haven from the outside world. We enjoyed mornings waking up with no power at all, and just the feeling of the wood burning stove warming the house. I would highly recommend this as a getaway place from the bustle and noise of the city!
