Ameys Ridge is our lovely home set atop the hills, overlooking rural South Gippsland, Corner Inlet and beyond.
We look forward to you enjoying our cozy home, on small acreage with garden space perfect for family enjoyment.
Just a short 5 minute drive back down the hill is the town of Foster, which caters for all of your neccessities.

The home is of generous size, the central living area is an open plan design, with the bedrooms separated down the opposite end of the home. There are 2 lounge spaces, one features the most natural tv there is (a huge window with a view) perfect for reading a book or simply soaking in the scenery with a coffee or wine in hand. The second living space is equipped with a smart tv and coonara wood heater. There is a laptop friendly work desk for those that require a bit of office time on their holiday.

The two main bedrooms offer a Queen bed in each, the third bedroom/shared space, contains 1 Queen bed and a set of single bunks. Linen is NOT provided. There is one central bathroom, and 2 separate toilets. The kitchen has a large fridge with a freezer, an electric oven and a 5'burner gas cooktop. There is extra seating at the kitchen benchtop, which is a fantastic size, ideal for at home meal prep. The dining table comfortably seats 8.
Most appliances you would find at home, are right at your fingertips, including a coffee pod machine for your morning caffeine fix.

There is a firepit out in the back yard, for guests to utilise. Please be mindful that firewood is subject to availability. We cannot guarantee an ample supply at all times. The property is not fully fenced. It is surrounded by farmland, so bringing your domestic pets is strictly discouraged.

The Neighborhood:
Situated approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and approx. 40 mins to Wilsons Promontory.
This property is located 5 minutes from the township of Foster. 10 minutes to Fish creek, 20 minutes from Meeniyan & less than 30 minutes to the beaches of Waratah Bay, Sandy Point & Walkerville. The perfect secluded location, whilst still being within convenient reach of local hotspots.

Getting Around:
This property is located rurally, cars are required to get around if you wish to explore the country side and surrounding areas.

Other Things to Note:
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
This property is on tank water (pumps) and septic systems.

Please note: There will be a call out charge if we are called out after hours. Eg: Losing Keys
