You can take a shuttle bus to and from the mountain or when conditions permit, ski back to your unit via a ski home trail. Whiffletree is close to all Killington has to offer. The nightlife is Killington is always rated as number 1 in ski areas in the Northeast. There are plenty of great restaurants and shops to keep you busy when not on the slopes. If you are not a night life person and prefer to relax after a day on the slopes, the unit offers a gas fireplace to keep you warm on those cold winter nights.

Rent a Kayak and spend a bucolic day on Kent Pond or go river tubing on the White River. History buffs can enjoy visiting many Revolutionary battlefields as well as taking a trip to The Calvin Coolidge Homestead and Library in Plymouth, VT just 15 minutes from Killington. Woodstock, the quintessential Vermont town, is home to the Billings Farm and Museum and the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park.
