Overall stay was good, we did not have a view which was a little disappointing. They forgot to clean our room one day, but, the apologies did flow. The only disappointment was the quality of their toilet tissue - it was absolute rubbish.

Solid offering for a weekend trip

The hotel was great, it was very central and staff were very helpful. The room was a bit older but it was very clean and spacious.

A little tired and service is average.

A little tired and service is average. Has the potential of being a great hotel with a lovey view and location despite the rambling additions over many years. It needs some maintenance to bring the rooms up to price charged compared to other Dublin hotels and the staff need some leadership on service.

The restaurant came in handy

The car parking system needs to be re-configured. The system of getting a ticket endorsed by the front desk and having to wait in line Each time is really cumbersome and annoying. The breakfast situation is just weird. The variety of food is absolutely abysmal. And the price for the breakfast is exorbitant compared to its poor quality. The breakfast tables have almost no space in between them so we were way too close to strangers who kept Looking at us.

Grace and comfort

The Royal Marine in Dublin was a palatial setting with marble and fine furnishings throughout. The accommodation was very comfortable and the car parking was convenient to the hotel. The room was a king double and the room and the facilities were spacious and without fault. The staff at reception were very helpful on checking in and the check out also went smoothly and with no fuss. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking for a bit of pampering.

Good location. Poor check in experience.

The lady who checked us in was rude she gave us no information and basically threw the keys at us ,we had booked month's ago and came all the way from Australia and they put us in the worst room possible on the ground floor with no view whats so even ,we wore very disjointed, On a brighter note the bar staff were lovely and the location is excellent.

Excellent Old style Hotel

Very nice staff with the warm welcome during check in, stay and check out, excellent location for those who got enough of city noise just 2 min walking to the beach and waterfront restaurants. We have not enough time to explore the facilities in details but there is a nice indoor pool, Gymnasium and Day Spa. Hotel is very old and popular in Dublin. On my next visit I will make sure to stay longer. Strongly recommended for anyone want to enjoy at the nice Irish style Hotel with excellent Internet speed...

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Very good value for money. This is located south of the city so if you dont have a car the train is nearby. Or you wool be looking at about £25 for a cab. Hardy's Bar is a great spot for drinks or a meal. The beds in our room were comfortable. Modern bathroom facilities

Beautiful, grand hotel by the seaside

The Royal Marine Hotel is in a perfect location in Dun Laoghaire. Right in the town centre on the seafront, with beautiful views of the bay, The staff were vey friendly and helpful and the room was large and clean. The Spa within the hotel was wonderful- worth a visit!

It's a great location if you are visiting Dun Laoghaire and there are stunning views. However, some of the balconies in one of the newer builds are concrete, meaning you can't see the view when sitting down, and there is no outdoor furniture. The rooms are pretty tired and in desperate need of a refurb. Beds are very comfortable and the room we had (Executive Sea View) was a great size. Service in the lounge is very slow but the staff are pleasant and helpful.

We spent three pleasant days at this hotel. Rooms are updated and well-laid out. Bed is super comfortable for those who just arrived on a flight from the US! Staff was competent and friendly enough. We tried to check in about 1-2 pm, originally they said could check in at 4 and store our bags, but a room immediately came free, which was very appreciated. Buffet breakfast and food in the cafe outside the bar were pretty good. All in all a good stay. Thank you!
