Lovely home
The house was beautiful and the location couldn't have been better. We ate dinner each night on the patio looking over the sea and watching the sunset. We loved the beach, the surfing, and the accessibility of towns near by accessible by car, bus, and foot. Lots of great walking and running paths!

Anniversaire de rêve au Pays Basque
Très belle maison basque surplombant l'océan à proximité immédiate d'une plage, de paillotes "bar/tapas" et d'un joli golf miniature. Billard, ping-pong et barbecue y sont à disposition. Bref, plaisirs et distractions pour tous les âges. Propreté et équipements ménagers irréprochables. Maison vivement recommandée notamment pour y célébrer un événement familial exceptionnel. Elle fera partie de nos souvenirs inoubliables toutes générations confondues !

Eight friends enjoyed a wonderful week. Bénédicte was helpful and the property was fabulous. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked with equipment ( no garlic crusher!) but crockery chipped and needed updating. All told s very happy time was had by all!

Herrliches herrschaftliches Anwesen in wunderbarer Lage direkt am Strand
Große Terrasse, große Zimmer mit zum Teil herrlichem Blick auf das Meer. Manches ist in die Jahre gekommen und dürfte bei dem Preis sicher auch mal erneuert werden. Ärgerlich war das Abfahren: um 8:45 Uhr kam der Putztrupp und hat konsequent die Etagen geräumt. Wir als die letzten haben den vor uns Abgereisten noch gewunken; danach (10.20 Uhr) waren alle Türen verschlossen und trotz wildem Klopfen wurde uns nicht wieder geöffnet. Ein letzter Durch- oder Toiletten- Gang war nicht mehr möglich. Unschön! Aber nur ein kleiner Abzug …

Spectacular views, great house
Great house for family gathering. We enjoyed spending time on the terasse and at the beach below. The views were stunning. Owner was very helpful and answered all my questions. The house has been renovated in some areas. 3 of the bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor (French 1st floor) were recently renovated and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with a wide variety of pots and pants. But refrigerators need to be updated. Dishwasher was great. Kitchen needs to be renovated as paint is peeling off in some areas. Washing machine for such a big house should be larger. Beautiful living room and dining room although we hardly used them since we were always on the terasse. Mosquitoes were very bad and difficult to manage. We would definitely stay again and hope that renovations to make the house more comfortable will continue. Thank you for a great stay.

Fantástica casa familiar asomando al mar
Hemos disfrutado de unos dias maravillosos en esta gran casa situada en una ladera sobre la playa. Viajamos una familia completa de 15 personas, incluyendo abuelos, padres y niños de diferentes edades y encontramos en la casa de Kokotia un lugar ideal para nuestra reunión de semana santa. Durante el día tuvimos suficientes destinos de interés en el entorno como para ocupar una semana entera, y aún nos faltaron días. San Juan de Luz, Biarritz, Bayona, Guetary, La Rhune, San Sebastián... Cuando caía la tarde tratábamos de volver a casa con tiempo para poder disfrutar de las maravillosas puestas de sol desde la terraza. Después, la casa con su gran cocina, generosamente equipada y su amplio comedor y salones, nos brindaba un entorno perfecto para disfrutar de excelentes cenas en familia. La casa es grande, muy grande. El jardín y las terrazas harán las delicias de los que puedan disfrutarla con buena meteorología y quien tenga la oportunidad de visitarla en verano encontrará la playa a un corto paseo. Mantiene el carácter y el encanto de una antigua casa familiar, con la mayoría de los muebles originales y sin embargo resulta cómoda, con buenas camas y con una calefacción eficaz. Los baños de la primera planta han sido renovados por completo y, si se le puede poner alguna pega, es que los invitados de la segunda planta no van a tener el mismo nivel de comodidades. El proceso de reserva fue fácil, con Madame Bénédicte ofreciéndonos toda su colaboración. En resumen, lugar excelente para una familia grande que busque descubrir la zona vasco-francesa.

Absolutely Magical... The Photos Understate the Experience!
Truly an exceptional opportunity to inhabit a grand mansion situated on the coast with absolutely no other houses between you and the rugged, churning shore. Oversized bedrooms, befitting royalty, each with a full bathroom and shower. Views from every window, balconies, a dining room fit for a king's court - truly a villa bourgeoise that we are fortunate to have stayed in. It was just me and my wife for 8 days, off-season, so we freely traveled to all the surrounding villages and shopped locally at the Carrefour for provisions.

Das Haus ist wunderschön, riesengroß und hat einen unbezahlbaren Ausblick aufs Meer. Alles war sehr sauber und wie in der Beschreibung. Auch die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich. Wir würden am liebsten jedes Jahr herkommen!
